The Hospice care nurse leads an experienced team of professionals and volunteers dedicated to preventing pain and distress while providing emotional and spiritual support. Although a team member is not present every moment, family and friends can confidently handle most situation, thanks to Hospice's training and assistance. The team works closely with each patient, family member and the physician to develop personalized care plans for specific needs. |

What if the family cannot manage this care?
For those who need to safety of a nursing or assisted living center, victory hospice care has arrangements with several fine facilities. If highly skilled, around-the-clock attention is needed, continuous care is available at home or the team may recommend a short inpatient stay. Hospice inpatient care is provided through contracts with Mission community Hospital, and other respected facilities. Usually, the goal of inpatient care is to control symptoms and returned home. |
Who pays for this care? Victory hospice care is a certified program; its services are covered by Medicare, Medicaid and many other insurance plans. These benefits may also relieve families of the confusing claims paperwork. Hospice can give you more information about these benefits. |
